# Connect Jira to Corunner via Forge

> Connect Jira to Corunner through the Atlassian Forge app for issue sync, ticket actions, workflow updates, and @Corunner mentions.

Jira is a Direct Connection built as an Atlassian **Forge app**. Install the app on your Atlassian site to let Corunner work with Jira issues and route `@Corunner` mentions to your chat workspace.

## What Corunner does with Jira

* Read Jira issues
* Create Jira issues
* Update Jira status
* Track blockers and delivery work
* Respond to `@Corunner` mentions in Jira

## Authentication

Corunner uses an Atlassian Forge app. Install it from the Atlassian Marketplace, then paste the verification code shown in Corunner into the app's admin page to link Jira to your workspace.

## Manage this connection

Open **Integrations** in the Corunner web app, then find **Jira** under the **Direct Connections** tab.

## Install the Corunner Forge app

Open the **Connect Jira** dialog. Corunner generates a single-use verification code that remains valid for 15 minutes.
