# Connect Cursor to Corunner MCP

> Configure Corunner Engineering Memory MCP in Cursor.

Add Corunner to Cursor's user MCP configuration so it is available to your coding agents.

## Configure Cursor

Add this entry to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

```json theme={null}
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "corunner": {
      "url": "https://api.corunner.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

If the file already contains other servers, add `corunner` inside the existing `mcpServers` object rather than replacing the file.

## Complete OAuth

Restart Cursor, enable Corunner in the agent's MCP tools, and complete the browser sign-in and consent flow. Choose the Corunner workspace and approve only the scopes you need.

## Verify the connection

Ask the Cursor agent to retrieve Corunner context for a repository file. Include the canonical Git remote so Corunner can resolve the correct repository.

<Warning>
  Do not put bearer tokens or authorization headers in `mcp.json`, project settings, or source control. Keep the access grant user-specific.
</Warning>

If the server does not appear, restart Cursor and check that the JSON is valid and that the server is enabled in the agent tools picker.
